The Mary Wallopers - A Seven-piece band, The Mary Wallopers were formed by brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy and their friend Sean McKenna traveling the length and breadth of Ireland singing and collecting songs.
Their early live performances exuded a raw energy and their self-titled first album perfectly captured their sound and ethos, one filled with warmth, intimacy, chaos and enough sparks ready to light any fire. They are working on a new album which will be released later this year.
Eli Conley - Eli Conley is an indie folk singer-songwriter, teaching artist, and activist based in Sacramento, California. He makes music for queer and trans folks, justice seekers, and anyone who doesn’t fit in a box. Eli's voice is tender and heartfelt, with songs that can leave you teary-eyed yet hopeful. As a queer transgender man from the South, his music tells stories that aren’t always reflected in roots music.
Eli founded Queer Country West Coast, a regular series featuring LGBTQ+ blues, folk, and country artists in California. He has opened for Carsie Blanton, Heather Mae, and Grammy-winner Kimya Dawson, and been featured in Newsweek, the Huffington Post and the Advocate.
Eli's third album Searching for What's True was released in July, 2023. Themes of uncertainty, ache, and loss come up again and again on this record. The songs are drawn from the concrete and immediate details of daily life: a stuffed animal clutched in a child's arms, a colorful sunset after a forest fire, a confederate statue toppling to the ground.
Searching for What's True is Eli's first release since being diagnosed with a repetitive stress injury that forced him to stop playing guitar for many months. After wrist surgery and careful rehab, he came back to songwriting with a renewed sense of purpose. On the album's first single "Making Something New," he describes the work of an artist as "finding beauty in the wreckage / making meaning of the grief / when we tell our stories true we find release." His deep belief in the transformative power of creativity stems not just from his own experiences, but his many years offering singing and songwriting classes for queer and transgender people and allies.
Eli co-produced Searching for What's True with Maryam Qudus (Tune-Yards, Thao & The Getdown Staydown, Alanis Morisette) at Tiny Telephone Studios in the Bay Area. He was joined by longtime collaborators Conrad Sisk on cello and Joel Price on mandolin, violin, and background vocal arrangements. Their muscular string parts are complemented by delicate percussion from Jesse Loren Strickman. Briget Boyle lends her voice to the lush vocal harmonies, and James Touzel holds down the low end on upright bass.
The resulting album is a testament to the power of the creative spirit. At times it's hushed and intimate, at others soaring and dramatic. At the heart of Searching for What's True is Eli's singular voice, urging us to stay open to our grief and our joy.

Anna Moss has a voice that will stop you dead in your tracks. She commands attention and takes audiences on a spiritual journey when she sings. Growing up in Berryville Arkansas, (a town whose main industry is chicken farming) Anna flew the coop and made her career playing music in the US, Canada, Europe, Central and South America. She has made waves in the folk and festival scenes of North America as a front woman for the band Handmade Moments. After seeing most of the Western World she decided New Orleans would be her home. Moving to the New Orleans has influenced Anna’s arrangements and style. She began writing her debut album in a dark depression during 2020. All shows we cancelled and live musicians were practically erased from the economy. It was in these bleak times that Anna wrote profusely and honed in her bedroom pop style. She searched for months to find a band in New Orleans to fill out her sound. Eventually she found what she was looking for. Fernando Lima, a local percussionist and drummer originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil and Olivya Lee, a flautist and vocalist originaly from Uruguay joined Anna to create the Nightshades.

We Three the Oregon alt-pop trio – siblings Manny, Bethany and Joshua Humlie – have already built a passionate global fanbase with their anthemic, emotive and life-affirming songs: they have 1.4 million TikTok followers, an audience they cultivated during the pandemic, and their music has received more than 250 million streams. But _Love Me_ is their richest, rawest and hardest-hitting work yet. For frontman and primary songwriter Manny, the album title is a "small phrase" that gives a "huge insight" into the record's themes. We Three are now a globally popular act selling out shows all over the world, but like so many bands, they started out gigging in and around their hometown – McMinnville, Oregon, a small city 40 miles southwest of Portland. They first came to wider attention in 2018 when they entered America's Got Talent and stormed all the way to the semi-finals. We Three used America's Got Talent as a springboard and never looked back. They have since released three previous studio albums – 2018's We Three, 2020's Dear Paranoia, Sincerely Me and 2022's Happy – and built a reputation for singing sensitively and insightfully about difficult topics including mental health issues. Sara, their most streamed song to date, is a haunting portrait of a young woman struggling with self-harm, substance abuse and depression. Charismatic leaders. These are the dictators, demagogues and false idols who, around the world at this very moment, are stoking division and igniting war in the name of nothing but self-gain. They’re also the unmistakable target of Wheel’s new album of the same name: a seven-song prog metal opus that strives for all things right in a world gone wrong.
Since forming in 2015, Wheel have swiftly grown from underdogs of Helsinki, Finland, to an international tour de force. The angular riffs, unforgettable melodies and adventurous scope of the trio’s 2019 debut, Moving Backwards, was instantly adored by fans of megastars from Tool to Coheed & Cambria. Then, 2021 followup Resident Human received rave reviews from publications across the planet, praising its sonic evolution and bravely dystopian themes.
Charismatic Leaders was meticulously crafted to meet Wheel’s ever-heightening benchmarks. Its songs date as far back as 2020,and recording with engineers/co-producers Daniel Bergstrand and Fredrik Thordendal (Meshuggah) stretched from August to December 2023. The end result, mixed by Forrester Savell, has consolidated all the gains of what came before: singer/guitarist James Lascelles, lead guitarist Jussi Turunen and drummer Santeri Saksala’s third album represents their heaviest and most conscious music to date.
“Normally, ‘charismatic leader’ is a term used to describe the leader of a cult,” Lascelles explains. “I think the meaning is changing, considering how we’ve seen politics evolve over the past ten years. It seems to be less and less about policy; it’s more and more about these cults of personality, like we’ve seen with Boris Johnson and Donald Trump. I started seeing these people everywhere and thought, ‘There’s probably enough information here to do an album.’”
Although not quite a concept album, Charismatic Leaders investigates this idea in laudable detail. “Empire” rages against the multimedia oligarchy of Rupert Murdoch, its impassioned cries and high-octane riffing making it the most invigorating four minutes of Wheel’s career. Meanwhile, “The Freeze” builds an enormous atmosphere to accommodate its more worldly focus, expressing the paralysis and hopelessness many feel as they see atrocities playing out thousands of miles away. Yet, armadas of ferocious riffs still hammer through across the song.
“This is our heavy album,” Lascelles states. “For the people who like metal and are into Wheel music, this is the one for them. It’s not like we’ve become a caricature of the previous albums, but we’ve definitely moved in a more metal direction, and we wanted to make a metal album.”
Already, Wheel have toured the world with such prog metal idols as Epica and Soen, and it’s easy to imagine the irresistible hook of “Disciple” or the explosive guitars of “Submission” only amplifying the excitement of their shows. With an Australian tour alongside Caligula’s Horse and many more concerts already planned for 2024, Wheel’s pulse-pounding cries for justice will never be more widespread. Charismatic Leaders is destined to be looked back on as a manifesto that equally excited its listeners and made them think about the world around them.

Boston-based band Couch infuses pop with funk, rock, and R&B/soul. Their vibrant sound is further defined by the members’ backgrounds in jazz, a cappella, and musical theater.
Until Spring 2021, Couch members were scattered across the country at various universities; they tackled the challenges of being a “long-distance” band, writing and even recording virtually for three years. Despite these challenges, they celebrated the release of their debut EP, “COUCH,” in February 2021 as well as three new singles and a headline tour in 2022.
In 2023, Couch released their sophomore EP, Sunshower, accompanied by an eponymous 20-city national tour, performances at Boston Calling and Levitate, and a sold-out UK tour.

MOONNLIT MISCREANTS GLAMOUR AND GENDERFUCKERY DRAG NIGHT
The co-produced Drag and Burlesque Group Moonlit Miscreants was born from the San Francisco queer culture that influenced Malachite Mcevoy in her early performance days. Malachite got their start making music at an early age and later went on to make a splash in many drag and performance art groups. They went on to create UC Berkeley’s Rocky Horror Shadowcast Group Transylvanian Temptations that performs regularly at the Elmwood Rialto Cinemas. It was there where they would go on to meet the other half of the brain behind the Moonlit Miscreants, Adriana Arancibia, who performed as Trixie in the Transylvanian Temptations.
Adriana came from a performance background, from being a multi-instrumentalist as well as a dancer since she was a child. Adriana’s burlesque influences came from the vibrant pole dancing community and underground pole/aerial entertainment venue Flux Vertical Theatre located in Berkeley, CA. It was in this venue where she went on to meet many performers in the burlesque and pole space that would later comprise the Moonlit Miscreants group.
Malachite and Adriana shared a love of giving artists a spotlight and a place to express themselves which initially gave them the idea to create the Moonlit Miscreants. Performances combine an expression of gender binary nonconformity, striptease, music, circus, acrobatics and chair dance that are sure to entertain and excite audiences across the board.

Where it all began:
Hoyt, Kyle, and Trevor all met at a performance-based rock music school when they were in elementary
school. While in college they grew their following in San Diego. Their focus on, and love of, music fuels
the success they’ve had with Sitting On Stacy.
How’d they get their name?
The boys started out as “Paper”. People searching for them on the internet would find great deals at
Office Depot and Staples but couldn’t find them easily. They needed to find a unique name. They spent
months tossing suggestions around. One day Hoyt woke up having dreamed about doing a show and
that they’d been introduced as Sitting On Stacy. They thought it was pretty funny but the more they
joked about it the more it stuck.

Hailing from Abilene, Texas, Dexter and The Moonrocks have carved a unique niche in the music scene with their innovative blend of Southern Alternative, red-dirt country, and alternative rock, creating a genre their fans affectionately call "Western SpaceGrunge." The band, consisting of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist James Tuffs, lead guitarist and vocal harmonizer Ryan Anderson, bassist Ty Anderson, and drummer and vocal harmonizer Fox, combines influences from a wide range of artists, including Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Whiskey Myers, to produce a sound that is both earth-shattering and introspective.
The group's debut single, "Couch," released in August 2021, was a significant hit, captivating audiences with its unique sound. This success was followed by their self-titled EP, featuring standout tracks like “Where I Steer” and “Behave,” which received overwhelmingly positive responses. An official version of a demo that fans adored from 2022, The Moonrocks explore what it feels like to be told you’re not enough, but someone else is. With a storyline about a guy who’s been left by his girlfriend (for another girl), the sentiment of reconciling heartbreak - and the self-destructive tendencies that permeate from it - continue to give fans a playground to find commonality in shared hurt, and the chance to scream at the top of their lungs.

Gyedu Blay Ambolley is a musical luminary hailing from Ghana, West Africa, with a staggering 29 albums under his belt. Known affectionately as the "Simigwa Do Man,” Ambolley’s musical journey began in the vibrant port city of Sekondi-Takoradi, in the Western Region of Ghana. His early fascination with music blossomed into a lifelong passion. From mastering his father’s flute at the tender age of eight, to honing his guitar skills under the mentorship of “Uncle Bonku”, Sammy Lartey and Ebo Taylor, Ambolley’s musical odyssey has been nothing short of extraordinary. This all led to Ambolley becoming a musical life force and exploding on the scene in 1973 with a jazzy highlife sound called 'SIMIGWA-DO'. His name has become synonymous with Simigwa music and dance.
Coming of age amidst the zenith of Ghana’s highlife era, Ambolley emerged as a pivotal figure in its evolution, lending his talents to esteemed bands such as Houghas Extraordinaires, Meridians Of Tema and Ghana Broadcasting Band. It was during this time that he caught the attention of his compatriot and friend, Ebo Taylor, who recruited Ambolley to be a member of the Uhuru Dance Band. This all lead to a transformative journey to Nigeria in 1973, where they shared the stage with the legendary Fela Kuti at his renowned Shrine venue.

Y&T: 50 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TOUR
Before Mötley Crüe, before RATT, even before there was a Metallica, Y&T was slogging away in sweaty rock clubs around America. When the band formed in the early 1970s, little did they know they would set the standard for hard rock bands that trailed. Many of the biggest acts of the ’80s became popular opening for headliners Y&T—and cut their teeth on the band, as evidenced by the Y&T mentions in tell-all books by acts such as Metallica and Mötley Crüe.
Born in Oakland, California, Y&T is one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s own innovators of the hard rock sound. Whether performing to a festival crowd of fifty-thousand or in an intimate nightclub, Y&T’s high-energy set and passionate performances still captivate legions of fans around the globe, proving Y&T’s music timeless.
Originally formed as Yesterday and Today, the initial powerhouse quartet—featuring Dave Meniketti (lead guitar/lead vocals), Phil Kennemore (bass), Leonard Haze (drums), and Joey Alves (rhythm guitar)—tore through the ’70s and ’80s with their own brand of hard rock. After two ’70s albums on London Records, they shortened their name to Y&T and released eight albums on A&M in the ’80s. Two more albums with Geffen Records marked an era of change with Jimmy DeGrasso (Alice Cooper, Suicidal Tendencies, Megadeth) on drums and Stef Burns (Alice Cooper, Berlin, Huey Lewis) on guitar.
With a discography of 18 albums, three greatest hits collections, plus a boxed set, Y&T has sold over four million albums since their 1974 inception. The band’s most recent single I’m Coming Home has climbed to roughly 1.5 million views on YouTube. Y&T received extensive airplay with hits such as Forever, Rescue Me, Mean Streak, Don’t Stop Runnin’, and Summertime Girls—which played in heavy rotation on MTV. Y&T songs have been featured in a multitude of movies and television shows, including Real Genius, Out of Bounds, Baywatch, and Hunter. After five top 100 albums, songs that tipped into the 40s, two Bammie Awards, and many international television appearances, Y&T’s hits are still played on VH1 Classic and classic rock radio stations worldwide.
With the passing of Kennemore, Haze, and Alves, it’s Meniketti who carries on the legacy that is Y&T.
